Why was her death such a mystery? I don't know much about this case, just that she was a child model or something like that.

its really dumb and stupid
she was in alot of beauty pagents and then she got killed, but all the clues pointed to the parents, but they say they didnt do it and they got off the hook
but another guy says he did it, probably so he can just get out of a foreign jail and back into a US jail

JonBenet was a child who participated in beauty pageants. Her murder shocked everyone because she was so beautiful and it happened on Christmas.
The reason it's such a mystery is because the evidence pointed to this having been perpetrated by someone inside the home, i.e. the parents or young brother.

JonBenet Ramsey was a child beauty paegant contestant/model.in december of 1996 she was found in the basement of the family's home.for years there was no killer found, and a lot of speculation surrounded her parents.lots of people thought they did it.in june of this year her mother Patsey Ramsey died after a long battle with cancer.
Just recently the case has been reopened and Mr.Karr, was taken in as as the suspect.he confessed to the killing, stating it was accisental.He was suspected after making several e-mails to a college professor and revealing details that have been said that only the real killer would know.
My view on the whole thing is that this new "suspect" seems to be quite fishy.if he has been in hiding for almost 10 years, why now is he confessing after only one day.seems to me that he would still proclaim his innocence a little while longer.things to make you go hmmmmmm.

She was a child pageant icon. One day she was dead and gone...and it's been like 10 years since JonBenet actually died..that's why it's a huge mystery.

jonbenet was murder X mas night 1996. her body was descovered in her basement by her father. he removed that that bound her mouth shut and brought upstairs placed on floor and put a sewater on her and put next to the x mas tree.the cause of of death was a rope tied around her neck and a crush skull her case was ruld a homaside every one for years to come thoght her mother and father killed her but someone just counfese to killing her he said "i did not mean to kill her it was an acadent i loved her." she was only six. this man was 30 somthing years old. she was a child model.

This child was murdered in her own home. Her parents were quite wealthy. The mystery has been who did it and how did they get in. Very, very sad case.

because no one knew who did it. many people were suspects. The family was very rich and the mother was a liitle pushy at pagents

they couldn't find her murder, but just a couple days ago they found him, he's a teacher in thailand, and he kidnapped her and raped and killed her. She was only 6 years old and she was in beauty pagents.
