The video they made in July 1969 with crew cast Neil Armstrong wasn't as good as Ameggedon with Bruce Willis.

LISTEN ALL YOU A-S-HOLES WHO OPPOSE TO MY QUESTION. ALL OF YOU GO MOON YOURSELVES.
NEXT FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO AGREE THAT THERE IS NO PROOF MAN LANDED ON THE MOON. WHY DID NASA ONLY MAKE 2 ATTEMPS TO LAND ON THE MOON FROM 1969-2006!!!

THERE WERE NO MORE THAN 6 EXPEDITIONS FROM 1969- 2006. WHY SO LITTLE. WHY IS THE NEIL ARMSTRONG MOVIE NOT RELEASED TO THE PUBLIC. SCIENTIFICALLY THERE ARE MANY PROBLEMS ONCE LEAVING EARTHS ATMOSPHERE TO LAND ON THE MOON

he's right, its a big hoax in history. they never landed on the moon..they just wanted us to believe this so we'd be freaked out by russian space attempts, and waste all our tax dollars in attempt to help JFK's wealth which in turn fueled his killer's insanely jealous rage for him to murder jfk....its all a big hoax

Someone doesn't know their history! There were actually 18 Apollo missions, with Apollo 11 being the first to actually land on the moon. The first Apollo mission of course was a disaster, killing all astronauts inside the capsule during a launch test. The rest of the pre-Apollo 11 missions basically were baby steps as the astronauts and mission control technicians learned how to use their equipment (maneuvering, docking and undocking, getting to the moon and back, etc) and prepare for the eventual moon landing. Apollo 13 set out to land on the moon, but of course ran into trouble shortly after launch. Apollo 17 was the last moon mission.

So that makes exactly 6 expeditions that actually put men on the moon (out of 7 attempts, considering Apollo 13). Why we stopped going to the moon after 1972 is simple - NASA's budget was being cut, scientists had figured there was little more we could learn on the moon that required manned missions, and all attention turned to projects closer to home like the Shuttle, Skylab and eventually the ISS!

The very last Apollo mission, Apollo 18, marked the first time Russian cosmonauts and American Astronauts teamed up in space. An Apollo capsule carrying Deke Slaton (original Mercury Astronaut who NEVER flew into space till A18 because of health reasons), Tom Stafford, and Vance Brand met with a Russian Soyuz craft carrying Alexei Leonov and Valeri Kubasov.

As to your comment about there being many problems upon leaving the earth's atmosphere - your right! But we didn't just go to the moon on the first attempt! The first space missions, Mercury, were designed to simply get us into space, to prove that a man could be put into orbit and brought back safely. There were 6 manned mercury missions. The Gemini missions were designed to learn how to maneuver in space, break earth orbit, to complete extra-vehicular activities, and to get to the moon and back. In all, there were 10 manned gemini missions. Then there were the first 10 Apollo missions which expanded on the knowledge gained from Gemini. The point is, with each pre-moon mission, manned and unmanned, we pushed the envelope a bit more, practiced skills learned in prior missions, and learned something new that would be critical in getting to, landing on, and returning from the moon.
