This question originated as "has a Major League player ever hit a homerun in every official at bat?" Initial reaction is obviously not. But it's possible a player only had one or two at bats, homered, then got injured or sent back down to the minors. Has this ever happened?

Well, the closest is probably Esteban Yan, the reliever who has only had 2 official at-bats in his entire career, the first of which was a HR for the Devil Rays in 2000.

The only other that's that close would be Luke Stuart of the 1921 St. Louis Browns, who only had 3 at-bats in his major league career, the first of which was a HR.
