I got your GRITT!

The Executioner's Song by Norman Mailer

Norman Mailer's book is easily the best of the more than one hundred true crime books I've ever read. The story of Gary Gilmore & Nicole Baker reads like a warped American Romeo & Juliet at times.

I would recommend anything by Mailer if you like your grit gritty and you coffee dry.
