Hmmm I tried to get a friend to stop when I was younger too, but nothing I said worked.
she will do it behind your back lie about it.
(it sucks) there are no long term harmful effects though!unless she is a heavy user. but I am not saying it is right

If you don't know anything about it, then how do you know it is bad? If it is not affecting you, or his life for that matter, then anything you say is unlikelu to make him stop. Other than it being illegal and the obvious fact that it is being inhaled into the lungs, do some research and actually find out what is bad about it. You will probably find it is not as bad as you have been taught to believe. If he has a really bad life, it can't all be atributed to one thing such as smoking weed, it would be a multiple number of complicated issues. Try to help your friend in constructive ways, not by attacking him on somehting that is probably a huge comfort to him. ( lol, im awaiting all the thumbs down for my answer, keep on believing you are right people)

Whoever said weed cant hurt you its a lot of bs. This weed what could do to anyone, make lost ur brain cells, birth effect, kidney, maternal problem. look i have the same problem, my best friend doesn't it 2 and i try so many ways to make her stop it. but i learn dats her life and she need to learn on her own. but she knows i will always be there wen she need my hands

YOU can't stop her -- only she can make that decision for herself. In the meantime, distance yourself from this poor excuse of a false-friend, and just tell her you will be there eventually when she straightens herself up and comes clean. Get yourself a new group of friends -- because like this, you don't need enemies!

As long as she stay healthy and it does not compromise something it could not be a problem, Weed can be a good medicines if it's use in a controlled amount. it's good cure if you having a Stomach Ache. and it could be a appetizer too.

Most my guy friends smoke everything under the sun (so to speak) i have told them i don't like it but you can't help them they need to want to help themselves and usually they don't want help so theres nothing you can do about it.
