Ok anyone that grows a garden or had a garden your help would be greatly appreciated! I am having problems with my tomato's, the vines are falling over and tomatoe's are falling off the vines. So I have green tomato"s all over the place! How do I get them red when I bring them in the house! Thanks and HELP ME PLEASE! PS... I don't eat green tomato's !

YOu need some stakes, or a cage so the vines can grab on too, so they wont fall over, and the ones that fall over are petty much dead when they touch the ground, the bugs will eat them/

store them in a dark place with a piece of friut that is ripe and giving of the gas that causes fruit to ripen and check on them every two to three days.plus have you tried making green tomato chutney it is really simple and can be done in the microwave

set them on a table in the sun outside and it will help them ripen. also, you should try fried green tomatoes ...they are delicious. you can get a good recipe online.

Put in a paper bag and let sit(a week) they should be ready.I always pick mine green(pink on bottom) that way I beat the bugs without using insecticide.

They should ripen on their own. You can speed the process by putting them in a brown paper bag.

place your green tomatoes in the window sill and they will rippen.
but you need to stake your plants so they are sturdy or use a tomatoe cage.

Dark cool place and leave the stem on. Try not to let them touch. We spred them out on the garage or basement floor.

You can pickle them or youcan fry them and eat them. My great-grandma used to do this in the fall. Her philosophy was, waste not, want not. ... when you fry them, use in place of green peppers, like frajitas or stir fry.
