can nailpolish get dry/bad if the bottle has never been opened?

I want to get some on ebay but I don't know how old they are.... it's never been opened though so does it really matter?

well it depends if u put it in the fridge they will dry but just leave it where it can touch the sun but not really unless the brush drys

Yes nail polish gets old and either gets thick or separates.
