Yeah Jim is cool - but I don't see it regularly enough. Was he speaking of Microsoft 2 days ago?

It could mean a lot of things. Usually it means that the company has extra cash and has decided that buying back stock is the best investment they can make. It usually indicates a limited pipeline as they have more cah than they can invest. Either that or the board believes the stock is undervalued. usually they know ore than us.

Point being you never know. It is generally a good thing though.

a stock byback indicates that the company feels thier stock is undervalued and has confidence that it will go up. Jim Cramer said it on his show 2 days ago. He's good u should listen
