I'm in Williamsburg Virginia & looking for some great restaurants off the beaten path. I'm not looking for the chain restaurant, tourist traps, but something really unique & insanely good in Williamsburg. Any suggestions??

Please, if you have nothing constructive to offer, simply don't answer. It's not a question only for the rocket scientists in town, but w/ the idiot answers you would think so. Captain George's is good, I agree, but I've been there many times. Hopefully some helpful answers will come my way!!

I love the Aberdeen Barn, we eat there everytime we're in Williamsburg. The steaks are great and the service is impeccable. One of the taverns in Colonial Williamsburg used to have a chicken pot pie on the menu, it was really good. I'm not sure if they still sell it.
