I think its rougly 3 months because I remember the new year on neighbours being shown in the UK in March.. you can work out how many episodes behind we are on http://www.neighboursfans.com/episodes/ but I am pretty sure its 3 months (or 12-14 weeks behind in other words!)

It's actually not as long as you think. A couple of months maybe not even that about 6 weeks or so.
