My car is in a parade. How can I attach 3 dozen carnations to it without damaging the waxy paint?

If your paint is waxy, they didn't do it right.

In the meantime, find some fine netting material. This is usually made of thread, or some synthetic material. Weave the stem of each flower into the net.

Of course, leave some space for the driver to see out. Wrap the net on each door separately. Maybe the trunk and hood too, just in case of a problem.

Go to the store and buy some dubble byested tape also called carpet tape.
This taps is stickey on both sides and it will allow you to attach the flowers.
NOTE: apply a small peace to a hidden place and then remove the tape. It should not affect the paint in any way.

Hope this helps in some way
