I wanted to post this question as well. I really don't believe he did it. I like to read about unsolved murders (Yes, I am actually admitting that. I'm not a wacko. I also like reading about serial killers and general crime from a psychologist's point of view.)
I am well read on the JonBenet case. I don't think he did it. It doesn't make sense at all. The handwriting in the "ransom" note doesn't even match up to a comparison sample of his handwriting from a high school yearbook. Things like that don't change and they're not even the same. That should tell everybody right there. The police and the people need a scapegoat, they need someone to blame. I hope he doesn't get wrongly punished for this...the guy's weird, but not guilty of that.
You're right, he's just another nut looking for publicity, confessing to a crime he did not commit.
Look at all the facts in the case. I personally don't understand how the Mother could have done it, or how the Father could have done it.
There are some stunning items up for dispute on the Mother, though. I still think her Brother did it. (Either way, SOMEONE in her family is guilty.) Look at how OJ got away with murder...even when the guilty are so visible, they still somehow manage to get away with it.
Oh yeah - and look at how he's saying her death was an accident. An ACCIDENT? She was strangled. Her neck was bound! She suffered both strangulation as well as a hit to the head before she died. Her skull was smashed. That was no accident. Even the police say it was such a gruesome, violent death - somebody really hated that child. It was personal and it was planned.
On the flip side HOWEVER...apparently he has revealed some very private information about the case that has never been disclosed to the public. Aside from that, does the DNA match their sample? I have heard conflicting reports. And why does he keep saying he 'was there when she died'. What does that MEAN? I will be damn surprised if he really did this.

Definitely not. An obsessed person like him would never forget a detail of a murder. He has said that he drugged and raped her, but there were no drugs in her system. I definitely don't think it's him.

No...I don't believe. It is an attention or money thing. I still think her mom is guilty.

I always thought her brother did it. I think this man just would rather be in an american jail than were he was.
