I'm not sure anyone knows at this point. The comments I heard during the Sunday Night game on NBC last weekend was only if he thought he was ready to stand back in the pocket, look down the field, and not be concerned about getting hit in the leg/knee. Madden said if he was the coach, he would let Palmer make up his mind when he was ready. I hope Palmer is the starter for the first regular season game, but it's a long season and if he isn't ready, I hope he sits out until he is.

Probably,he said he wouldn't play until he's 100%, so him playing in preseason is doubtful right now, but by week 1, I expect him to be up and running just like new. I sure hope so, he's on my fantasy team.

I would be surprised if he came back week one. That is a tough injury to come back from, and reinjuring it would be devestating not only for the season, but for his career.

I hope so, he's my FF quarterback, and my backup is questionable.
