How can I make a picture black and white with like the lips or shirt red or any color?

I want to make a picture black and white with like the background black and white and the person color. Does anyone know how to do that?

Photoshop! Assuming you have a digital image you want to edit. A scanner would help here. There are free versions floating around, you just have to find them.

yup photoshop....here how u do it....An easy way is to create an adjustment layer (Hue/Saturation) then on that adjusmentlayer erase the portions you wish to be in color. Be sure your foreground color is black. If you make a mistake and erase too much change your foreground color to white and erase your mistake - this will turn the image back to black and white.
An advantage of doing this as above is that you could add and additional adjustment layer for Hue and Saturation and control the color that shows through.

If you don't have Photoshop, I recommend Photo Impact. It's really good, and a LOT cheaper. If you already have an editing program and want to know HOW it's done, I recommend you look online for tutorials in your particular photo editing program. good-tutorials.com has bunches for photoshop, and even if that's not your program, you can learn some techniques that will be helpful in your program.
