By the way, I DID read this book, but I just wasn't able to pinpoint the passages that relate to culture or traditions.

Well, you could try actually reading the book and doing your own homework instead of asking strangers to do it for you. Just an idea.

It is a tough task, I guess. But you said you have already read the book. Well, love: I think you will have to read it again, and I have a suggestion for you:
Take some sheets of paper, and title each one with the aspect you want to consider for the analysis. Do not mix them. Do not elaborate. I haven't read the book (I must, I know). but, for example:
Burial rites: "Wang was buried with his whole dress. He/she was cover with oil and oinments to make it easy his/trip to heaven"...What is the burial rite here?..."Cover the dead person with oil and ointment to make easy his/her trip"...Etc.
I do not think you are lazy, but a little disoriented about what you have to do. Your teacher wants you to READ the book and understand another culture.

Read it again. Do your own work and stop asking other people to do it for you. Lazy. You are not going to learn anything this way. Look at that list! It's huge! You can't find something from that?

You should do your homework. That's the point of education. If you can't, just tell your prof that he failed his job.
