Yes, it's terrible. But, since you are human, of course some time to relax and veg out is great. Every couple can use some time to be alone. Enjoy it. Heck, wallow in it. Relaxing a bit just means that you'll enjoy having hubby back more, which means he'll enjoy being home more. So, having fun like you are having is helping your marriage. AND try dunking oatmeal cookies in milk. Let it run down your chin. You can wipe it up with one of those towels. LOL

LOL. My wife has every Friday off. All to herself to do whatever she likes... sleep in, watch soap operas, whatever. It's her free day, every week.
We love each other dearly, but I'm sure she enjoys the freedom. Any close relationship can become stifling. You've got to have some personal time; alone or with your friends.
Personally, I'd think she was nuts if she couldn't enjoy being herself. Who would want someone so dependant they can't be happy unless another is right there 24/7?

Oh, honey...The secret to a happy 20 year marriage??? I BUY him vacations to go on with his friends/brothers! Then I feel like stripping down to nothing, setting fire to a pile of logs in the backyard and dancing naked around the flames while his car is heading out of the driveway! By the time he comes back a week later, I've usually begun missing him and look forward to seeing his big goofy face!

No it isn't wrong. I am happy all the time but it's the reverse for me. My house can stay cleaned. Won't have to worry about the dished piled up in the sink after I have cleaned the kitchen. Don't have to worry about a dirty shower or tub, after I have scrubbed my knuckles raw trying to clean them. Don't have to worry about clothes all over the floor.
I hate to see him come home because I enjoy my house being clean.

Some times it is good to just relax and not be on your best behavior. We all need a little bit of personal time now and then to just relax. The key is that you also realize that you do miss him some and that when he comes back you don't find yourself still wishing he was gone.

No, sometimes it's just nice to be alone! As long as you don't wish he was gone all of the time, I think what you are feeling is totally normal and healthy.

No, everyone needs to enjoy their private time, but hopefully you will not be resentful upon his return for the lack of that private time.
