Okay, start off with your introduction. The introduction is always the hardest part of a paper, but once you get it down, the rest of the paper comes fairly easy. In your intro, try giving a brief description of the movie, and then state your thesis...which is basically the argument and point your trying to make. Now, if this is more of a descriptive type paper, and not an analytical one where you're trying to prove a point, then the paper should be a fairly easy one. All you have to do is tell what happens in the movie. A good starting sentence would be, "The film Hide and Seek (italicize I believe), is a horror film in which the elements of psychology and terror are combined" Or something of that nature. I've never seen the film, and have only read a brief summary, so that's the best I could come up with. I hope this helps.

This is the week everyone wants to pile on Robert DeNiro for his supposed fall from grace. He is one of the greatest actors of all time, some say THE greatest of all time, but his career in the last 5 years has included more movies like Godsend, Flawless and Showtime instead of movies like The Godfather Part II, Raging Bull and Taxi Driver. Even I weep every time I see him in that American Express commercial. However, he still does good work, even in bad movies, which is what you get in Hide and Seek.
DeNiro stars as David - a man trying to raise his disturbed daughter, Emily (Dakota Fanning), after the mother's horrific suicide on New Year's Day. He moves the girl from Manhattan to the quiet, serene (and fictional) Upstate New York town of Woodland. The people are a little weird, but David's biggest problems are at home.
Emily refuses to talk to her father, make new friends, or act in any normal way. However, she creates a new imaginary friend, Charlie, who she blames for increasingly disturbing and violent behavior around the secluded house. As David tries to reach out to his daughter, we are left to wonder if this Charlie is all that imaginary.
What is Charlie?
I didn't have high hopes for Hide and Seek, but it was ALMOST a good movie. Of course, that close call with competence is averted with an ending that gets worse and worse as it drags on and on and on. Writer Ari Schlossberg comes up with a good twist (one being closely guarded by 20th Century Fox, so don't expect me to give it away), and a decent story that makes you wonder about Charlie, but director John Polson destroys the film.
Hide and Seek is dragged down by an unemotional, overly dowdy performance from Fanning. Since she is just doing what she's told, I have to blame Polson for overselling us on her character's depression and disturbed personality. At times, I thought Fanning was trying to channel Saturday Night Live's Debbie Downer in some sort of parody, but this is supposed to be serious, scary stuff. She is so morose and emotionally dead that the character is too unbelievable, and often so fake it is very silly. However, Polson commits more sins.
Like almost every movie I see these days, Hide and Seek has a point where it could end gracefully and allow you to leave the theater thinking it was OK. Then, Polson drags it out past that point and into let-me-go-home territory. The movie becomes more unbelievable and ridiculous with each passing moment, and gives you more time to find some plot holes that make the twist seem not as cool as when it happened. Even at the VERY END, Polson feels the need to throw one more monkey wrench into the proceedings, and that is piling on in the worst way. All of this is more disappointing because Polson does a wonderful job early on by drawing us into the story with some bona fide scary moments, chilling plot developments and edge of your seat surprises.
Hide and Seek's best venue will be cable.

start it like a mystery novel...
Timmy was lurking in the shadows, his assailant crept by slowly, keeping a sharp eye out for movement anywhere in the darkened back yard of the spacious mansion on the northermost hill of Luxembury manor.
Suddenly, a young girl of 9 or perhaps 10 years of age ran shrieking across the yard. running blithely for the large oak that cast its creepy shadow over the drapes in timmy's room when he went to bed at night and gave him nightmare's.
Timmy's assailant tore through the yard chasing the young girl, shrieking in delight when he saw he would reach the oak first.
Thats when Timmy made his move...
and go on from there.
then get into explaining its a game.
