You're right, i was telling my little daughter that. Aaliyah is still my favorite singer. We were watching that dancing show, Ciara came on and was doing her best to project Aaliyah. You can tell she's been watching Aaliyah's videos and mimicking her.
Ciara, is a great singer, but she can't touch my girl Aaliyah. Baby girl was the total performer, she could sang, dance, act. She was sexy without coming off as a ho. Ciara doesn't come close, and should spend time developing her own style. It's sad but true.

You're trippin' dude. Ciara's just showing her true colors and so what if it's similar to Aaliyah's? And that's lovely, that you're swearing to kill her. Let's have another female R&B idol die, because of someone's stupidity. No one WILL EVER replace Aaliyah, she's an angel. However, you should realize that you're probably not the person to be judging anyone.

Ciara is original. She doesn't remind me of Aaliyah at all. As far as Aaliyah, she cannot be replaced. She is truly 'One in a million'. I love Ciara's music, and I hope she comes out with another album soon.

maybe ciarra chose aaliyah as her mentor years ago and wants to play a tribute to her since she'll never be able to meet her. unfortunately there isn't a lot of originality these days. this world lost aaliyah way too soon, like so many others.

i dont follow ciara's music i think its childish. i agree theres no replacement for aaliyah but u need to relax cuz nowadays all these rappers and singers they wanna b sumone. the harder they try the harder they fall :S but sum good stars can never b replaced so its all good
