black women I mean not all blacks just black women.

I think black women are pretty strong - i guess becasue they have to deal with black men and everyone else telling them they're not good and most men don't like strong women. So I think its true.

Wow, so much slamming on our brothers. Our reasons for not getting married isn't limited to the "man". We have so much effort to put forth in our daily lives, it frequently doesn't seem appealing. We typically are not willing to be stay at home moms, which is an issue when settling down and planning to raise a family. Some of us realize it's not good for all others involved to be part-time mommy and wife, while focusing on our careers, so we wait.
In agreement with a few other answers, if we chose to limit our selection to "black men" only, we would truly be doomed. The good ones are already married, they knew what they wanted right away, and stayed. Then comes the divorcees, the baggage is too much for a sister. Then of course, what we have left are those who nobody really wants.
By the way, for the guy with the pizza joke, that sh*t is NOT FUNNY!

That's because their men are all players and thugs and can't support a family.

Not true. In the U.S., only 8% won't be or have been married by the time they are forty.
