No one should buy baby clothes. you should swap. Babys don't wear out clothes, they simply grow out of them. Start a clothing swap in your area with people who have kids a few years older than yours. Swap sizes for sizes.
If you must buy, Gap Outlet has really good prices, along with Ebay, if you haven't looked there. Sears has a KidsAdvantage Club where for every $100.00 you spend, you get a certificate for 15% off your next purchase. It doesn't matter if they're on sale or not & shoes are included.

costco usually has clothing for all ages that you can buy at a wholesale price. so does target and some walmarts.

you know what? visit your local salvation army store they sell all sorts of great childrens adults ect. designer , clothes for excellent prices and on wed. here in houston it is half off the reg price some of these items have never been worn but it is up to your taste to pick through... what a bargin.!!
