Completely based on the GREAT movie, "Defending Your Life." You have died and have gone to Judgement City. (A sort of stop-over on the way to Heaven.) You are assigned an attorney....there is a court appointed prosecutor and 2 judges. It is the job of your attorney to prove that you have overcome your fears. The prosecutor tries to prove that you haven't. Each can demonstrate their case, via a movie screen...they can show any day of your life to prove their case. By the way, if you lose your case you get reincarnated until you get it right. Once you DO get it right, you progress to a higher level. What day(s) would you want to be viewed, in orderto demonstrate that you HAVE overcome your fears?

WOW!! That's a rough one Sunshine. It's more of a time frame than just a day, but it's all relative. My hubby was deployed to Iraq and as typical, if it can go wrong, it will go wrong while he's gone. We had a car breakdown and fights with nasty neighbors. Then our daughter was attacked by a dog on her face. Hubby found out about it and got in a vehicle driving down dangerous roads alone to get to a phone to call home. I told him if he ever did it again, I'd kill him myself!! We get past that and think things are good and the freezer breaks down. We lost over $500 worth of food. I called my Dad and was kicking and screaming telling him I was tired of it all. That it was time to give up. He listened intently, then when I went quiet, he asked if I was done. I said yes, so he said "now you grab your darn boot straps and pull 'em up, then you stand up strait, say a prayer and start all over again". That's just what I did. The next couple months went by quickly and hubby came home safe and I'm thankful for each day we have together.

I guess some would say those really aren't "fears". I guess you'd have to live that kind of life to understand. Love, family/friends and mainly God can get you through anything.

The days (months, really) after my divorce when I was so scared I could barely breathe sometimes and wasn't sure I was going to make it through. I had gone right from my parents house to a college roommate to my husband, so I had no clue how to live alone. But I managed to get up each morning and face the day, hard as it was...and I found out I was much stronger than what I thought and although I would still prefer not to go through the rest of my live alone...I know that if I had to, I could.
