Some people aren't really in love with their spouse, but are comfortable with the life they live with them. So, they have an affair with someone they "love" but are too chicken to just end their marriage.

Because they are under the impression that the grass is greener on the other side of the fence. They also have no respect for themselves, children and obviosly spouse who they made an original prmoise to. These people will always be scumbags and shouldn't be trusted with anything as they are all about what is good for them only.

Because the marriage or relationship offers them comfort and stability, but not passion and excitement. Unfortunately, excitement and comfort often don't mix. It really takes a lot of work to maintain the best of both worlds.

I've heard few reasons, but many excuses..."she doesn't like to have sex" or something along those lines seems to be the most common one...
