I know it was done for drama, but come on! Has Harry not suffered enough? Does the writer hate Harry? If he made me mega bucks..(as we know he has).. I would at least let the guy be happy now and again. Lets see..Harry loved his parents...dead...Harry got a Godfather...dead....Harry thinks (at least a little) of Albus as a grandfather...dead...I fear for Hagrid. He has the Uncle vibe going on. Friends seem to be ok around Harry ( WE ALL HOPE!)...but I would not want to be considered family!!

I was sad but if that's what J.K Rowling needed to do to complete the series, then so be it.

both briliant book moves.
However, the Dumbledore idea is going to be hard to watch on a silver screen...why? Because the character who started off playing Dumbledore in the movies died in real life so they had to find a replacement. Because of this people have grown attached to his character..
So book brilliance, movie mistake for the dumbledore killing

per chance to reveal that we won't be able to continually have the respond to our many questions served to us on a silver platter. Dumbledore turned right into a extremely smart man or woman and if Harry had Dumbledore's help the finished time... the position's the adventure?

Devastated- When Sirius died I had to go back and reread it 3 or 4 times, I just couldn't process what had happened. When Dumbledore died I actually was crying- (not just tears running down my face) the hard to breathe, face hot and squinched up, lip biting, can't see through the tears -crying.

It was about time, and Harry didn't really lose anything.

The kids go to a school full of master wizards as their teachers, yet they are incapable of doing anything to stop the bad guys.

The kids, meanwhile, have almost no experience and end up thwarting every scheme the baddies throw at them. WHAT?!?

pretty pissed. I was really starting to love harry having Siruis around. But as an author she had to make Harry independant in his quest to kill voldemort, so I forgive her.

Ya hate to have characters you like get killed off in books or movies...and knowing more will be gone before the series ends is distressing!

I was sad, of course, and hurt for Harry. But, I also realize that Harry needs to do this on his own and he wouldn't be able to defeat Voldemort if he didn't have more and more reasons to hate him.
