There is no future. Nobody has ever been there. It is a construct that exists only in your mind. The same is true for the past. The only thing that exists is the Ever-Now.

The future is not selected from the past, however, there are lessons to be learned from the past. Unless we understand where we came from, we have no idea where we are going. Unless we learn from the mistakes of the past, we are doomed to repeat them in the future.

I think the choices we make will determine the future we have. The past is important tho. Say if your mother in the past slept around and passed on that trait to you, if you chose to follow in her foot steps then your future is dictated by your mom's past and her mistakes become yours. But, if you realize that your mom made some bad mistakes in her past, and you determine that you're not going to make those same choices as she did, then your future does not have to be dictated by her past. So it can go either way.

We can choose our future, as well as choose to change our future, if we do not like the current direction in which it is going.

We can choose our future; the problem we face is not repeating atrocities of the past. People get too greedy and neglect what is already written.

the future is kinda selected from the past.because,when we are at crossroad in our life,taking different ways takes us to different places...so there are written more possibilities...we just have to choose one of them.
