Her & I are both 17 right now, she is EXACTLY 1/2 year older then me, i have known her for more then a year, we are best friends & are very close to each other, so close we both tell each other EVERYTHING. She is so confusing because i consider her to be too good for me, but she goes & says things like if neither me or her are married by the age of 30, that we should get married. She says she doesn't want us to hook up because she doesn't talk to her ex-boyfriends, so she doesn't want to mess up our friendship. The thing she said to me most recently is if i was taller she would go out with me. I might be an inch short or taller then her. Something we do together is sneakout about 1 a week during the school year. During the summer it was when ever it seemed right, so about 1 every 4-5 days. We have kissed before, nothing french or long. She sometimes touches my arm softly or even grabs my hand but i always freeze up. I LOVE HER SO MUCH i would die for this girl without even hesitating.

Sometimes the direct approach is best, just ask. But if that seems too bold for your liking, look for the following signs. Pay attention to your conversations with the person in question.
1) Does this person show a special interest in having a conversation with you and, once started, make an effort to keep that conversation going?
2) Has this person taken a sudden interest in your life and hobbies? This is a sure sign that he or she is interested in something.
3) Other elements of body language include frequent eye contact, holding your gaze and looking down before looking away.
4) Does the person you're wondering about just plain smile at you a lot?

When I was your age I had a similar situation with a girl I loved. The problem buddy that you're in the friend-zone with this girl. You can tell her how u feel, but it she always tells u that it would mess up your friendship by dating then you're "Just Friends". The best thing u could do is find other girl that u are not friends with and try to date them. Being a good man is more important the being a really nice guy. Have faith in yourself, and think highly of all your good qualities. Women love confident guys, not guys that have no confidence, plus it's not the same as narcissism. But you're a in the friend zone with this girl. If you can't just be friends with this girl, then it might be best to let her go. It's not healthy to be stuck on one girl who sees you as only a friend. The longer you like her the more it will hurt you when she says, Just Friends! There' re plenty of single women out there! Or just be happy with being friends with her and treat her like your guys friends. If not the end it now because you'll only be hurt in the end. Good luck!

I say you go for her. Talk to her and make this dream come true. I never made mine come true and now I regret it very much. When I was 16, I met this guy who liked me in return, but I guess he was too shy to tell me. At first I seemed not to like him, but then I realized he was a beautiful person. I had him for a class, and when the semester ended, I felt sad because I thought I wasn't going to see him anymore. Then when the spring semester started, we ended up together in another class. He did show me some signs that he liked me, but I am also a very shy person. Then I guess he thought I didn't like him and he stopped talking to me little by little. He then met this girl, but he never admitted that he was going around with her; not to me, and not to anyone I knew. He was a senior and I was a junior so when the year ended he graduated and I met another guy. I am now married to this guy and have a daughter with him. But the love that I felt for this guy is still very strong. The worst part is that he died in February of this year due to a car accident, and I can't stop wondering what it could have been. He was exactly a year older than me. Talk to her and go for it. If later in life you two break up and don't talk to each other, then at least you will have a very beautiful memory of you two making this dream come true. Good luck!!

You are not going to want to hear this. I PROMISE she would not say she doesn't want to hook up if she does. I PROMISE it. If she wanted to hook up with you, she would make it clear to you. I am so sorry. If it is any consolation, I am 27 yrs old, have been in 5 very serious (love) relationships and even a marriage, and I am telling you FOR SURE there will be other ladies out there, one's that you feel even more strongly about, and that will return the favor.

Talking to her is about the only thing you can do. Tell her how you feel abotu her and tell her you realyl would like to take a chnace cause you think it would work. So maily just tell her about what you feel. SO talk to her then you'll know were to go from there.
