You must have Im talking from 1955 to 1992 they use to orbit earth and shoot thousands of miles across the horizon to hit clone targets on the ground millions of shots fired. They where inferred, red ,blue, orange, pink, green and UV.

Actually..
Those sattelites don't excist, they won't be efficient because a large amount of energy will be lost in the atmosphere.
However, the US airforce has several planes with Chemical powered lasers that can destroy intercontinetal missiles.

that's science fiction, man. Those things never existed.

The us government thought about that kind of things, once. It was named "project star was". They wanted to put laser based missile interception satelites in space to intercept russian nuclear missiles in the case of a ww3, but they didn't manage to complete them : we just don't have the technology to make a laser powerful enough to do that kind of damage with such precision.
