If they're good friends.... i don't quite get what large companies have to do with it.

If you mean should you be having friendships with people at work, I'd say tread carefully. Sometimes it's best to keep your social life and work life separate. I'm not saying you can't find friendship at work, more often than not it can get uncomfortable at work, for many reasons. Take your time and don't let the glamour of a big company lead you to think that these people are much different than co-workers in a small business. Stand back and observe, everybody is on their good behaviour when they first meet. You'll know when someone is genuine after awhile, then proceed from there. Good Luck!

The fact that they are good friends is more important than where they work. In fact, if you yourself don't work for a large company, and these guys or gals or couples really like you, that might indicate that they feel more comfortable around you than people with big shot jobs. Sometimes the big shots only hang around each other to strenghen their own social standing within the business world, not because they really like someone as a friend.

If they're proper friends, why should it matter where they work? If that's the way you judge friendship, you won't have proper friends for long!

friends and aquaintances are two different things. it's good to have aquaintances in large companies, advanteges like finding work, making sales, borrowing money etc.
Friends however don't care what they do, it's not about societal status, it's about trust, care, support, someone to have fun and identify with.

everything can be good or bad it depends on how u can use them, but sometimes we swallow all things that others give us without any concentration, and we forget about reality and the most important thing that we love to do, so dont think about good or bad , live on your own way,
