they use that as a gimmick to get your attention but depends on what's in the fine print. if you sign something that says for instance, you'll receive a free CD but in fine print it may say that you have to commit to a 1 year contract to buy 4 CDs at their regular price. you always need to read fine prints.

Have you EVER had anything any good for free? NO!!
If you want something decent you have to be prepared to pay somewhere along the line.
Why would anyone gige you something free? they don't even know you!
