the building collapsed, but they saved you from the rubble. Luckily the only fatality was your cell phone, which had thrown itself from your shirt pocket in a last-ditch effort to free itself from monthly charges you have been incurring. It uttered one small *blip* and then expired. Dazed, and waiting in the ER, you frantically felt for your phone, but in its space was an empty pocket. Oddly, you felt relieved, as if some bonds had loosened and you could live life again, without needless distraction. From that day forward, you strove to become a better man. You got a real job, got promoted in 3 months, and become the head of your department. Eventually you became a shareholder and decided the next step was to become a philanthropist. From then on, you dedicated your time and money to those in need and lived to a ripe old age. Four children, and 12 grandchildren later, you cast your mind back to the day you realized that you were truly alive..and thanked every minute you had on this Earth.
