I recently bought a bunch of clothes from there for the first time and when I went to wash them I noticed they all say dry clean only or hand wash...what's up with that? The fabric isn't anything special. Has anyone just machine-washed them? What happened? Thanks =)

I buy alot of clothes from Forever 21, and almost always machiene wash everything. Be very aware that because the clothes are such a bargain, the dye of the clothes tends to leak in the wash very easily. Normally, if its a shirt that says "dry clean only" i usually hand wash it the first time, let the colors bleed, and then after that maybe hand wash the second time & then go to a machiene wash. THe biggest danger is really the dye bleeding.

Yes, and they do shrink! So you can wash them in cold water in a 'light' cycle, the option should be on your washer, then HANG dry. Do not put them in the dryer, other then that the clothes from there are pretty cool.

Almost everything can go in the wash in cold water. But I wouldn't suggest putting any of it in the dryer. It will definately shrink. I learned that the hard way.

possibly 3 or 4 even as they get stuck contained in the legs of jeans or something I tell them make constructive you position your socks at the same time and they don't so I actually have considered a blue sock or a red one yet oh properly which could no longer my fault all mine are the right colour! ;)
