Can anybody tell me Pluto the dog's name in the debut film? According to others, it's NOT the answer easily found through online research! Help. It's a trivia contest that I need to find the answer to by 4:20 PM Eastern time.

The answer to the trivia contest question was “no name.” Pluto started off as a no-name bloodhound. Then he was Rover. Then Pluto. Thanks everyone!

A: The dog that would eventually evolve into Pluto made his debut as a bloodhound in the Mickey Mouse cartoon "The Chain Gang" in 1930. Later that year he appeared as Minnie Mouse's dog, Rover, in "The Picnic," and the following year finally became Mickey's dog Pluto in "The Moose Hunt."

First there was one dog that became 2. Minnie's dog Rover and Pluto. I have to guess it is Rover.
