If you are driving, please don't drink.
Be honest with your husband (he's your husband, not your Daddy) and tell him what you want to do. Keep it within limits, don't come home drunk and maybe he will see that you can handle your liquor.

Your husband is giving good advice.
Just take some juices and have fun anyway.
You will be something special, everyone is drinking and you don`t.
You will look much brighter through the night, others will be just intoxicated looking weird. Only because everyone does it it doesn`t mean it is something good or far out.
As a wife, if you value the concerns of your husband you will be on the right side, especially if it is in relation to good moral conduct and a healthy lifestyle. Be bold , be strong, have fun because you love dancing and chatting with your friends not because you are controlled and manipulated by a blurry vision.
Just a good advice. You should be proud that your husband is not indulging in activities that ruin so many people. Just be cool and strong, no harm to not drink, whats so special about it anyway?
If you restrain and stay bright and shiny and healthy you will see how others will look up to you, respect you and envy you for this virtue.
Have a nice evening! (would like to hear your experience after, drunk or not, i would just like to know, keep in touch)
Regards
Radha

LOl I feel your pain girl. My b/f HATES drinking. I recomend that you do not Lie to him. (been there done that) If you are going to drink than have a few (2) if not then cool. You should tell him that you dont ask for much and that you can go out once a year and have fun with the girls. My boyfriend wont even talk to me or look at me when I get home from the bar! I so feel you pain!

What good could possibly come from drinking? I think that it would be best to not drink.
If your friends wanted to go run into the street and dodge traffic all night would you run thru the street also?
It sounds like your husband is wanting to be a protector.

if you are going out with your friends to celebrate a birthday, a glass of wine in toast to the birthday girl is not amiss. If your husband says otherwise, then he is too controling, and you are better off without him. You should not be expected to adnere to his standards if you don't want to. However, to get blotto, is just disrespectful of both him and yourself. one drink won't hurt, 10 will

In this situation I would say can I come?
Seriously though if it will really annoy your hubby probably best not to. If you can get away with it and wake up in the morning and not be in the dog house, have a couple glasses. If you don't care, then wahey! Go enjoy yourself whichever you choose.

Personally, I wouldn't drink.... You might just have a little too much and embarass yourself. Plus, if your husband doesn't want you to drink, and you do anyway, he will probably be able to tell if you have been drinking.

Bloody hell love!!!! Since when does it matter if your husband wants you to drink or not?
You go out & have fun (admittedly, you shouldn't need alcohol to have fun), but be your own person. You should not let your husband dictate to you. If YOU want to have a drink then have a DRINK.
Have fun :-)

When you say drink, do you mean drink till intoxicated? If so i wouldnt, but i dont think one or two would hurt anything. No offense, but it makes your husband sound slightly insecure in your love for him.
