It's not credible and the information often changes so much but it is still a valuable website to go to for information.

Wikipedia is a GREAT place to START looking for information. Most information on it is valid, and it often has very useful and highly relevant links provided - much more "selected" and useful than a typical Google or Yahoo search.
But because it's the collective effort of...well, just about anyone...there's little guarantee of what is correct and little accountability for errors.

I have yet to find an error. It tends to have well written articles and is very useful. I have no problem with it.
That said, I'm sure it has things wrong in it. So does Encyclopedia Britanica. And it doesn't cost anything.
Encyclopedia Britanica needs to change their business model so that they make their services free by selling ads.

Nothing...as long as you realize that anyone can edit it, so the stuff you find there might not be as un-biased as it should be, or it might be completely wrong. The staff is pretty good about monitoring it though.

i agree how can info be guaranteed to be true if I can right whatever I want in it. Imagine being in school and the teachers could add whatever they wanted to your classroom encyclopedias and dictionaries? the possibilities of unhealthy and out there info is unimaginable
