all of my co-workers are going drinking after work today, and I can't go because I'm not 21 and this is my last day here because this was only a summer job for me, so I won't see them very often any more, and I just feel really left out. I just needed to share that with someone, because I can't talk to anyone here because I don't want them to fell guilty, but I don't want to feel so alone and left out so thanks for reading this, just leave some sort of comment and you can get your two points

I know just how you fell. I'm 19, and I intern at a pharmaceuticals company. Whenever everyone goes out, they go to the bar, which I usually can't, or won't go to. The worst part is that my other job is as a bartender, so when they do invite me with, it's usually because they want someone to mix drinks at their house, or to drive them home. I't good to get it off your chest. Why don't you suggest that you all go someplace else next time, if there is one? Or ask them to go to a bar and grill, so you can all have dinner together. Sorry, I know that totally sucks, but good luck.

Here's the way I see it: if you are acutally disappointed that you can go with, then you must like them, which means that you must have had some good times. Think of those times. Don't dwell on not being able to go with. And just because you aren't working together doesn't mean you can't all go out every once in a while. I go out with a bunch of people here every month, and we'll continue to do that after I leave. Why don't you do something like that?

*Oh, and don't do what Candy whatever suggests, cuz that's just... sad. Really, really sad.

**DO NOT be the designated driver. It's sooo gay. Just trust me on this. Some idiot will drink too much, and it is not fun cleaning up after that. And drunk people are only funny for about an hour. After that, it's just annoying.

well i think you should at least tell them how you are feeling because keeping something that makes you like feel guilty is not good because i had a friend that felt the same way as you and she ended up in a clinic am sorry to tell this story to you but after they took her out of the clinic she forgot where she lives and every friend that she had or haves she forgot everything she knew and the doctor said that she has to come back to the clinic and few days later her brain die.

Awe poor baby. Seems to me they could've at least invited you and let you tell them that you cant make it. Well I don't wanna make you feel more down so let me shut up with the negative. Is it a place where you need ID to get in because if not you can still go and have a virgin coctail. Just be happy, its Friday

Good luck sweetie. You'll do great things! Heck summer jobs and big plans for the fall. Drinking is overrated but it sucks to feel left out. You'll be okay.

I'm proud of you for not drinking. Just go with them and have some soda, or a smoothie or something. Virgin Strawberry Daquiris are awesome!

Go with them and have some fun. Consider yourself the "designated" driver.

I'm sorry you can't go with them today, maybe you can suggest another outting for another time with your co-workers. I think if you did tell someone, they might think of something to do that includes you.

hope it works out...you'll be 21 soon enough.

Ask them to go to a restaurant / bar so you can join in on the festivities. I wish my job was going out for happy hour

Aww I'm sorry! Maybe you could suggest that you first start at a restaurant so you can go and then they can go on to the bars from there.
