The ants have made a "trail" in your house. You will need to put out cinnamon. Put cinnamon sticks in your pantry, dressers, shelves and anyplace they would be likely to be attracted to. You can also sprinkle ground cinnamon outside your house/apt at doors, windows, ect. If one ant gets back to the mound carrying a scent trail, they will start comming indoors. Your best bet is to nip it in the bud. And yes, you can put the clothes in the wash, ants and all.

Take the hamper outside and shake everything thoroughly before washing them. Clean the inside of the hamper if you can. I don't think the ants were attracted to sweaty clothes. Was there anything sweet spilled on your clothes (ice cream, soda, etc.) You may have a general ant problem in your house or apartment. Check the baseboards around where you keep your hamper. Buy some ant traps (you can get them at the grocery store) and put them around your doors and under windows.

The ants could be attracted to either sweet or grease. Either way get the hamper outside remove all clothes shake them out then spray ant killer in the house near the hamper location . wash the clothes.

usually just take the hamper outside and shake out your clothes as much as possible. then put the clothes in the dryer to get out the excess ants (they usually go into the lint trap). after that wash your clothes.
ive had ant problems like that too. one time they were all attracted to my bath towel!! it was so crazy. but i just did the things i told you and they went away. it helps to sweep and mop the area around where the ants are too. and find out where they're coming from and plug up the hole (if there is one).

Look through your pockets and find the sweets that ants were after, then rinse clothes(if you have rinse cycle on your machine) then wash clothes. Spray hamper out with ant spray and then wipe out with Lysol or something or your clothes will smell like insectcide. Sometimes when ants discover something they are relentless in their search and you will continue to have an ant problem.

Yeah, throw it all in the wash, the ants will die and go down the drain. Then, spray your hamper and around it.

I doubt its a good idea to wash ants in the washer. They could clog the dran. You should try filling up a big bucket (or a pool) and dunking your clothes in that first, shaking them out so that the ants come off. Then wash your clothes and call an exterminator.
