Silent birth... ahahhahaha... in his next life I hope he is a woman married to a scientologist and asked to give birth quietly pleaseeeeeeeee.... Tom Cruise is a big, pompous, self righteous jerk. His opinions on women, child birth, and what NOT to do when suffering from depression are really not something we all just NEEDED to hear. Tom Cruise is an actor, not a doctor, and someone really ought to let him know this. lol Also, it looks like he's taking poor little Katie on a ride here... yes, she's a grown woman, but I, and others, feel Tom has been an extremely bad influence on an other wise normal human being.

He's arrogant and ignorant and a short little SOB. To put down Matt Lauer, saying, "You know nothing about psychology and I do," is down right rude and to put down Brooke Shields, even though I'm not a fan of hers, when she was going through post partum depression saying it was all in her head was also a disservice to many people out there suffering from not only that but other chemical imbalances.

IF he knows so much about psychology he would know that the hormonal effects can be brought into control through medication, not vitamins and diet as he seems to preach (which is comical because prior to becoming an actor he almost became a priest-Father Tom Mapother, can you believe it?)

Aside from that, how can anyone believe in such a hierarchal religion of Scientology that he often spouts off about in his tirades. What religion do you know of that has a "Celebrity Center" and that you have to pay to be audited to get to the next spiritual level?

By being opinionated and rude, he has done himself in and lost many fans in the process!

He made a comment to Matt Lauer about post-partum depression that was ignorant. He was commenting on how he thinks Brooke Sheilds was wrong to use andi-depressants to help with her post-partum depression. As a Scientologist he claims a woman can eat healthy and take vitamins and everything will be alright.Well unless Tom Cruise is a woman then he can't speak from experience.

I do not care what he does with or in his life or what he says for that matter...he is a human being, an actor...I pay to see him act...no to preach to me or be my role model. If he is in love, more power to him...if he chooses to play the fool, that's his problem...if he is practicing a weird religion, that's personal...the only thing that concerns me is that he acts good and that his movies are convincing, nothing else...Is not like he and I will ever have a relationship, meet or strike a convo...so whatever he does with his personal life concerns me none...and as a matter of fact, I love his acting and his great looks...
As to the rumors that he makes his co-workers "try scientology" I guess he is not too far from any other religious overzealous people that try to push their religion down your throat. The bottom line is that if those co-workers do not want to do what he demands from them they can always say "no thank you!"...If more people minded their own business the world would not be such a darn mess right now.

Because he's a crazy scientologist freak who tries to impose his ignorant, ridiculous beliefs on others. He also criticises innocent celebrities like Brooke Shields for no reason. He is a brainwashed robot. He doesn't even have a mind of his own. It's as if he's perpetually on drugs, but he's not. Or maybe he is on drugs, prescription and/or illegal ones. He's probably a hypocrite who criticises people who take anti depressants yet he most likely takes them himself. I mean look at him! He is always in such a fake state of bliss.

He has totally lost his mind, and a man especially a celebrity that I use to think was da' bomb as a teen, that is totally a complete loon is the biggest turn off of all, but the most annoying thing is he has all the money he could dream of, but he will never know true happiness because he is out of his gord. Abnoxious, rich, scary, and crazy, man, hmmmmmmm, I would never want a piece of that

I absolutely love his movies, but him as a person...he's kind of a jerk. He's about the only celebrity that you dont dare to play a prank on(speaking of a red carpet event) he pressed charges for someone squirting him with a little bit of water!!! The man has no sense of humor. Not to mention hes not at all concerned about his wifes feelings. Every time you see her shes depressed. She cant ever leave the house. Whats up with that?

Too controlling, its like Katie's trapped
He's crazy
He thinks he knows it all, like about on that interview when he was trying to make it sound like he knows everything about psychology although I don't think he went to college for that...
He believes in Scientology or whatever...what the heck is that?
He jumps on couches... that's a problem.

Me, well, I'm all about Johnny Depp.
:)

Hahaha I saw your answer to my "Nick of Time" question. It made me laugh.

He is disliked cause of his public meltdown

1. Jumping on Oprahs couch (that was cute I have to admit)

2. Jumping all over Brooke Shields about her publicly admitting she suffered from post partum depression - he said this was not normal

3. Jumping all over Katie.....who we love and not letting her use drugs for pain during childbirth --- THE BIGGIE

4. Jumping all over the Scientology bandwagon and just making people feel uncomfortable about their beliefs

I don't know what it is, I like him as an actor, I think his movies are great. But as a person, in interviews he seems so cocky and full of himself and that lame religion. He isn't very humble. And the way he acted about Katie was just very odd and immature.
But who am I to judge?
