Dry rot might want to truly reason structural complications if it is going to grow to be wide adequate yet when the progression were in threat of coming near near crumple, it sounds like the 2d inspection might want to have reported so. Failure of one joist might want to no longer make a progression cave in. i'm no longer constructive precisely why you're worried about this. in a unmarried way, you may want to be delighted that your landlords are doing what they ought to, it really is preserving the progression in a threat-free difficulty by technique of repairing a fault. they did not create the dry rot on purpose to harass their tenants. they did not recognize, once you moved in, how wide it grow to be. no one knew. The disruption to the human beings in the flat decrease than is their difficulty, no longer yours. i do no longer recognize how a lot disruption there'll be on your flat, yet you've been advised it heavily isn't major. because the artwork is being executed from decrease than, there might want to be almost none. no matter if you may or opt to stay in the flat even as the artwork is being executed is between you and the condo organisation in accordance to the owner/tenant regulations the position you're. that is something which could't be determined upon merely yet.
