okay.... please help me.... school is starting in two weeks and I am a 12 year old girl going into 7th grade. I started getting armpit hair when I was 11 and before it wasn't a big deal but now it is. when I lift my arm up it's soo clear to see. I want to look good and be able to wear tank tops. i'm not really comfortable talking to my parents about shaving and stuff like that. so what can I do before school starts?

Try an electric razor. If not, make sure you don't shave unless your underarms are wet or have shaving cream. Razor burn sucks!

Ok maybe you are going through puberty- it's when you get sexually mature and you develop new interests. IT HAPPENS TO EVERYONE SO DONT WORRY. First of all DO NOT SHAVE IT I REPEAT DO NOT SHAVE IT. Because if you shave it the next time it will grow back it will be THICKER YES!!! THICKER The best way is to buy hair removing cream or hair removing gel which ever you like- I reccomend the hair removing cream because it's not messy.
Ok so apply that on you hair and wait for 5-7 minutes then take a tissue and wipe it all off. It will not hurt and it will leave your skin smooth. Also read the bottle that you buy it in every bottle has a different time limit to remove hair.
So the next time your hair will grow back under you arm pits then they will not be thick and they wont tangle up either and also it will be easier to remove with hair removing cream

I remember being your age and having the same kind of issues. I actually started shaving my legs when I was about nine. I would just use my mother's razor in the shower...being careful not to go at the skin sideways with the razor...and remember to shave the hair in the opposite direction of the hair growth. Luckily, you are only going to be starting on a small area (underarms) so if you have any issues, no one will know. Just remember to always use a sharp blade with shave gel, if possible, and shave in the opposite direction of the hair growth. If you don't have shave gel, use soap and water to work up some suds. When in doubt, you can always ask an older sister.

Just buy a razor at the store and start shaving. You don't need to tell your parents. I didn't tell my dad when I started shaving. I just did it. I don't even think he really noticed. I doubt your parents will either. It is important that you do not share razors with or borrow from your friends. A lot of different things can be on the skin surface that you don't want on you. Use soap or conditioner instead of shaving cream and go slow. You'll be fine.

If I were you I would go buy a woman's razor and some shaving foam. You can get special razors, like the ones made by Gilette, which are really good because the whole time I've used them I've never cut myself. (But with cheaper razors not made for women, it's easier to get cut.)
In the shower, put some shaving foam on your arm-pits, and drag the razor over your skin. You might have to do it a couple times til all the hair's gone. It's pretty straightforward - you can do it! :)

ay no dont shave. wax is a lil painful but the pain is for literally 2 seconds. I used to shave and when the hair comes out, its more thick and a lot more. When you wax it a few times, your armpits will look nice and white and you dont have to worry about it for a month.

When you take a shower scrub your armpit with soap, then find a razor then gently shave the hair off....easy as that!!!

ya i know it can be really akward to ask but just go ahead and borrow your mom's. Take the razor some soap and water(aka the shower)rub on the soap and razor it off take ur time at the beginning so you don't nic urself( cut urself)
