A natural miscarriage is called a spontaneous abortion in medical terms. This means it comes about naturally, without any known cause. An induced abortion, on the other hand, is the intentional ending of a pregnancy. induced abortions can be either therapeutic (performed for medical reasons) or elective (performed for other than medical reasons).

Many things can cause a miscarriage, stress, chemicals like drugs, alcohol, being beaten or raped, falling, a woman's body might miscarry for many reasons.
It all depends on the term she is in how healthy she and baby are.
Example, I was in my third month got beaten and lost the baby.
BUT a 2 years later I was pregnant again and got beaten in My 5 month and did not loose the baby.
Another time I was 4 months and fell and lost the baby...

A natural miscarriage is when your body aborts the baby on its own. Sometimes when the baby is malformed, the body will eliminate the problem by miscarriage.
You can have a DNC or drugs to cause a miscarriage if you or the baby are having issues.

The kind that is caused by some sort of accident. Like a car accident. Some times a traumatic event can spur on a miscarriage

My sister had a miscarriage. A miscarriage is when the baby wasnt born right in your stomach or its just not want to grow and it stays small. Thats what happens.

A natural miscarriage is when your body does not sustain the pregnancy for physiological reasons. There are other sorts such as from injury & trauma (accidents, alcohol, parachuting...).

a natural miscarriage is where when the baby doesn't survive your body expels everything on it's own.. that is more what people mean when they say natural
the other side to it is medical intervention like medications, D&C to remove the baby that didn't survive (not abortion, baby is already passed)

I know they refer to a miscarriage that hasn't expelled on it's own as a missed abortion.
