how do i check the settings gor my printer? how do i change it to print in color and not black and white?help?

Depends on the printer: go to the upper left hand corner and hit 'file'. from there scroll down to print...
from there you'll see a box that shows your printer. hit properties, in properties, locate the color details, or grayscale. Make sure it isn't on grayscale. If you have an expensive printer, you'll have someplace in there that will control color, or black and white. Choose color. I don't know what type printer you have, so I can't tell you exactly what to do or look for. If you add to your additional comments what model printer you have, you could get exact help.

If the printer is functioning normally, go to printers and faxes under start, click your printer, click properties, and your printer setting are there. On my lasejet I have a separate driver to click for black and white or color or fax, when I click print and the page comes up.

Open your Control Panel, then double click on "Printers and Faxes." Right click on your default printer (it should have a check mark by it). Then, click on properties, and then select the "Advanced" tab.

Select "Printing Defaults" at the bottom. Select the "Color" tab and make sure "Print In Grayscale" is not checked.

When you are printing something, dont just press the printer icon. click on files, and press print. On the screen that pops out, there will be a button that says settings. Click on that and there will be multiple options to change the print.
