I think he is out for a free ride home.
I personally am tired of the whole JonBenet thing. If she was from a poor family she would have been forgotten and allowed to move on. (The exception being family members and loved ones.)

I think he is in trouble in Thailand and is trying to find a way to get out of his crime over there b/c he knows what ever punishment he gets here will not be half as bad as what he gets over there. So I think he is making it up. If he really did do it, why wait as long as he did to admit to it?

No way...He just knew that admitting to the crime would be a guaranteed ticket to get his *** out of the Thai prison. (We've all seen Brokedown Palace, right?)
He had nothing to lose. He knew he would be instantly expedited and placed in a cushy federal prison.
I think the brother did it. Don't ask me why...it just seems to fit.

I think he's trying to get extradited to avoid jail time in Thailand to beat a child porn charge.

I fail to see why it's such a big deal. Kids are kidnapped and killed every day. Do we only care about this one because she was cute?
