1st of all it's notice you!
Guys like kindness in a girl- we generally don't like floozies unless we're horny and no we are not horny all the time. As a guy I like the mystery of whats underneath the clothing rather that it being shown to me all at once in public. I don't appreciate a girl who like to make herself an attraction (spectacle) of herself for the sake of fashion.
Now dropping the book is a good start- but a smile with kind eyes will go farther.
