Be aware that traditional animation, as was done by Disney Studios, is a dying art form. It's almost all done by computer now.
I have also heard that The Disney Corporation is NOT a nice place to work. They make a lot of absurd , intrusive, and demeaning demands on you, even if they have nothing to do with your job (dress code, insulting and demeaning punishments for petty infractions like tardiness and attitude). Unless you are a natural born conformist, and those blessed with a talent for art seldom are, find another way to express your talent.

The reality of working for this massive international company may be a huge dissapointment. But an education from Cal Arts will be a great way to get a career going no matter where it is.

specific, you're regular. We, as women persons, have a tendency to gravitate to those who're like us. whilst i bypass to a motor vehicle broking, i seem for a woman shop clerk. If there is not any lady contemporary, i seem for an African American. I try this as a results of fact i'm extra comfortable with my own - a woman first and an African American 2nd. it relatively is stable to hearken to which you would be able to open up. this means which you will make an marvelous buddy. Your buddy won't would desire to wager what you're thinking or which path you're coming from. it is definitely one of the biggest issues of girls persons on the instant, we are watching for others to envision our minds and then get disillusioned whilst they do no longer or cant.

I don't think it's weird...in fact, I think it's great! To know for that long what you have wanted to do and now to be older and still be committed to doing it is wonderful! It's a lot more than some teenagers have thought about. I say don't worry about what anybody else thinks and go for your dream!

No not weird at all but maybe you are limiting yourself. Go to college and learn to draw animation for films and then MAKE YOUR OWN FILM. Don't be a slave to Disney.
