Sometimes people are correcting because they want to help and other times people are being mean. I feel what you are saying but don't be so head strong. And by all means don't think that everyone is trying to laugh at you. Learning English is hard. I'm still trying to learn it after all these years, HA! The more you speak it, the better you will get it. Don't get frustrated, shake it off and pack it under your feet.

It is very obvious when the asker is just being lazy (sumting, ur, etc.). I do not mess with the people that are either too young to know any better, or do not have a firm grasp on the English language. It is irritating when the misspellings and poor grammar are a direct result of sheer laziness.

I hadn't realized that spell check doesn't work on the additional comments section. So maybe I'll relax a little.
However, most of the spelling that irks me appears to be coming from native speakers.

You misspelled appreciating and effort; however, I do "apreciate" your "efford" to communicate in English.
Keep up the good work!

Yes, it occurs to me, and when it's obvious, I cut'em some slack... But here's some you misspelled !!
appreciating, not apreciating
effort, not efford
also you meant to use the word edition but instead used the word addition.
Get an education!!

Obviously it doesn't work in the addition. I "apreciate" your "efford", though......
