Go into Windows Explorer (Right click on MY COMPUTER, and pick EXPLORE)
Then click on the TOOLS menu and pick Folder Options.
Click on the tab that says File Types.
Scroll down for PDF and pick it.
Click on the CHANGE button
then pick ADOBE READER from the list.
That should do the trick.
Good luck

You need to check your file associations for .pdf files. Open up Windows Explorer by right clicking on the start menu and selecting explore.
Select Tools--Folder Options
Select the File Type tab
Scroll down until you find PDF
If Adobe Acrobat Reader is not next to it you will have to change the default program by selecting the change button and select Adobe Acrobat. If the file associations are correct then you need to create a new shortcut or modify your shortcut to Adobe Acrobat.
You can correct this by changing the path on the shortcut to point to the AcroRD32.exe file located in C:\program files\Adobe\AcrobatX.X\Reader.

Right click on the document and choose Open With. Go down the list for Adobe or click choose program. If Adobe isn't there you will need to click Browse.

If your file as an extention of .doc, .rtf, .txt it will use microsoft word to open it. if your file has an extention of .pdf it will use adobe reader to open the document. The open with method will not work for you unless you have Acrobat Reader, which is the better version you pay for and is better than Adobe Reader. They also have other programs like PDF Converter that will also convert your files for you.
If you want to change it you have to convert it to .pdf format.
I have acrobat reader. if you want me to convert a file for you just send me an email to teehustlin@yahoo.com. Let me know if you sent it because I hardly ever check my emails.
