Yup, life is messy. As long as you apologized just try to forget about it.

I did something like that when I was in middle school. I said something really nasty about a girl and then I turned around and there she was behind me. She had heard everything I said. I learned from that experience--I think really long and hard before I say something bad to somebody or about somebody. So I think you'll learn something from this experience also.
If what you said gets around the school, I think the best thing you can do is say "I was wrong when I said that and I'm sorry I ever said it. It's not true."

I would try to move on (not sure what you did, maybe you should become the other girls friend). Just don't forget how what you did made the other/you feel. That way you won't be temped to do bad things like this in the future.

Life is like a box of chocolates...you never know what you are gonna get...and sometimes it is like a box of chocolates left in the sun...melted mess..
LEARN from you mistake and move on.
IF she tells people what you did it is her way of dealing with the NOT SO NICE things you did.
BUT her telling about it is her bad deed and Karma will come back on her.
Leave it alone, you apologized, that is all you need to do.

If you truly feel badly for doing it and have sincerely asked for forgiveness, then you should move on. What you said obviously was not nice. But, if others find out, tell them that you were being a jerk and you realize how cruel it was.
Try not to listen to "friends"... when you're young, it's hard to realize who your true friends are. Stay true to your own feelings...you'll respect yourself and everyone else will respect you more for it. Believe me...

Don't forget it. Remember this feeling of anxiety about other people finding out about something you did, so when you feel pressured to do something like it again you will stand up for yourself and say, "NO!".

This is some of the horror that can happen because of peer pressure.you"ve made a mistake and someone got hurt.Hopefully you will learn from this experience and try not to make the same mistake again.Always look before you leap.

Apologise, feel bad about yourself. Remember in the future what it feels like to be ashamed. Congratulations! You have just added to your experience of life, we've all done it.
What kind of "friends" put that kind of pressure on you?
