It funny how the modern economic focus is just on the current bottom line, but never takes in play the medical costs due to pollution or the clean up costs from industry paid by the govenment, the inceased cost of social systems needed as a result of the growth. Wondering about your thoughts on this?

I have been in accounting for a few years now and I can assure you these costs can be measured such as using estimates that the acutaries use to evaluate thier surplus reserves

They can't be measured. Therefore, cannot be costed
