i really liked middle school (i'm 20 now) ...there definately is alot of peer pressure but stay strong..i'm sure you will! it is lots of fun though too! picking some of your own classes is super nice..also time inbetween classes...you will find people/friends change throughout the three years you are there! some of your friends in 6th grade might be lots different in 8th grade! enjoy it and don't worry about getting into trouble (detention, etc) it doesn't really matter later on! some kids are so 'perfect' during school and i dont see why anyone would have to worry about anything...whats the worst that could happen? have fun!

Middle school is a zephyr (SAT word: a gentle breeze).
High school is TOUGH, especially when you go into 10th grade and take AP course. Enjoy middle school, don't be too tough on yourself... get the good enough grades to get into all the honors and advanced classes... don't stress. (advice someone once gave me)
You can save all that for high school. Be nice, alert, and happy.
Good luck, all the best for you!

it depend on your school districts in mine the middle schools have kids from three elementary schools come into the 7th grade. so you get to meet a lot of new people. its really great and fun. its even better though if you have good teachers that actually make classes fun though

I'm a little old to answer your question but I remember when my children went to middle school. They were able to meet new friends. They seemed to like it as much as any kid can like school. One of my kids loved it but the rest of them just tolerated it. Good luck in you new adventure. Remember to always be yourself and hold your head up no matter what!

While it is harder than elementary school, you have nothing to worry about! Get involved with sports or clubs or something like that, just to get your mind off school. You'll get along with some people, other people you will just not like at all, but that's ok! Just be yourself and don't let anyone change you.

Make the most of it before you have to grow up and get all responsible dont take any notice of the others that are saying bad things they are trying to scare you. If you get any hassle off any over the older kids trying to throw their weight around don't put up with it. Most importantly have fun before you know it you will be sitting your GCSE,s and then you will have to get all serious.

middle school can be alot more.. different from elementary..many kids try to act older and tough but in reality they are just trying to fit in...just live above the influence. dont let peer preasure be a part of your life....be a LEADER not a follower!
