Looking at my poop. I do it every time. I wonder if anyone else does. I think I'll ask.

Well, I've got lots of hobbies that don't seem at all weird to me, though others may find them so, eg
Astronomy
Archery
Natural History
Local History
rpg
Latin
Bibliculture
Wine making
Cryptozoology
Critical thinking
and many others
But I suppose the one I would call weird is ... the Internet, indulging in things like Yahoo answers! I mean, when you actually stop to think about it, it really is weird; I am a member of societies and clubs that only exist in cyberspace, I have friends, close friends, that live on the other side of the world and whom I will never meet in the flesh! It is an amazing world we live in. When they said there was no future.... this is it!

Is wasting time on the internet a hobby? It does get strange sometimes.

Painting bird houses. I buy wooden birdhouses at Michael's or Hobby Lobby and just paint them. For fun. I tried selling some one time, at a county fair-type thing, but it didn't work out too well. Now they're all around my house!

I collect memories and experiences/feelings, especially good ones. I write them down as soon as I can so that the event can almost be re-lived when I re-read them. You know how you wish you can "bottle up" a wonderful experience? That is essentially what I do.
Also, especially if you have kids, write down the funny things that they do and say, or a learning experience they had, and keep it for them. It makes for a fantastic present when they are older. Heck, you can do that for everyone, especially if you write your experiences down frequently.... Pick out all those relevant to a special person in your life, have it bound for them and give it to them for their birthday/christmas present.

I collect dust.
But seriously, I am very much into frogs, so I would call that my strange hobby. I have a large frog collection. (They are not real frogs though.)
