sometimes people steal bids from me, how do I bid last

To cut it to the final few seconds you need to have a reliable broadband internet connection, and confidence that Windows isn't going to do a spontaneous re-boot, or your local power supply wobble. No-one who bids in the last few seconds sees the bids of anyone else bidding in that time frame before the end of the auction, so that's the time to bid the maximum you're prepared to pay for the item, and whoever's prepared to pay the most gets it.

You have two options....

1. Make sure your high bid is high enough where someone else cannot make a last minute bid....

Or

B. Wait until there is less than a minute to bid, click place bid, and start the process....even if time runs out, you have already started the bid process, which means you are able to place a bid.

Just make sure you put in the most you absolutely will pay when you place your bid, and then if you're outbid at ANY point in the process you can't whine about it, because they're willing to pay more than you.

By the way, you're not the only one who's had bids sniped..
